JOB OPENING (Police Officer): The City of Fairview Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Patrol Officer. Applicants must have successfully completed a POST certified police academy and pass a pre-employment physical including a drug screen. Applicants should apply in-person at Fairview City Hall, 7100 City Center Way. Applications will be accepted until August 27, 2010. ADOPT A GRADE LEVEL Starting this fall, I hope to implement a program that will help all the kids in elementary schools in Fairview. This program will help the teachers and children obtain materials they may need for the school year. For this program to succeed, I need for small businesses, organizations and individuals to ADOPT A GRADE LEVEL. There won’t be any organizations running this program, therefore, there won’t be any administrative fees or cost. The money or supplies go directly to the grade level you have chosen. As a small business owner, I challenge every business in Fairview to adopt a classroom grade level. As a citizen and parent, I challenge every individual to adopt a classroom grade level.
