City of Fairview Job Description SUMMER CAMP TEACHER (Part-Time) General Statement of Job The chosen candidates will teach summer camp classes of up to 16 campers for either ages 5-7 or 8-12. (Each class has 2 co-teachers.) Our major focus in our day camps is to help students reconnect with nature in a positive way that enhances basic concepts of an age-appropriate earth science curriculum. Successful camp teachers have strong leadership skills, enjoy interacting with youth, and have a passion for the outdoors. A sense of adventure is a must. City of Fairview Job Description Summer Intern (Part-Time) General Statement of Job Under supervision, supports all Nature Center activities including helping with the operation of Camp Bowie, animal care, answers questions and gives directions concerning park operations in person or by telephone, and assists with facility maintenance as needed. This position reports to the Program Director. This position is for 30 hours a week; Monday through Friday. It is a seasonal position that will end July 26th, 2019. Current Job Opportunity: The City of Fairview, Tennessee, has an immediate opening for the following position: FIREFIGHTER SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the shift officer or assigned chain of command combats, extinguishes, and prevents fires and fire related hazards. Protects life and property through firefighting and emergency response activities such as medical response calls, motor vehicle accidents, and various other first responder calls for service.
